Need plans for the weekend? G had a great time checking out two different markets in the city: the gorgeous Malla Market (March 18 and 19) and the NOA Artwalk and Vintage Pop Up (also March 18 and March 19).

The Malla Market (https://www.westandmelo.com/pages/malla-mrkt) is a pop-up market that features local makers and small businesses. If you miss this weekend's market, never fear - the next dates planned are April 8-9th, April 15-16th, May 20-21st and May 27-28th! Vendor types included clothing, candles, bags, bottles, bubble tea DIY kits, sweet treats, small ceramics, jewelry, home decor, and much more! (Rhyming unintentional.) The market is located on the 2nd floor of Kingswall Mall - check their website/IG for times!

(Showing great (self-proclaimed) restraint, G picked up some pampas arrangements from two vendors, https://www.instagram.com/pampasgal/ and https://www.instagram.com/foreverpampas/ but notes that the wallet damage could've been way worse.)

The Artwalk and Vintage Pop Up features amazing local artists and vintage sellers, and takes place in Bonnie Doon Centre. This appears to be a one-time event at the time of writing, but we will keep you updated if we see more events in the future! There were a lot of fun trinkets and awesome pieces of art to discover, plus buskers who provided live music.

(G's picks: some milk glass vases and an alcohol ink/resin coaster (last 2 pics) - again, with an application of the aforementioned great self-restraint.)

Would we recommend/visit these markets again?

G: A no-brainer - 1000% yes!
